Almost Still In New York.

If you click the picture, you should be able to read the descriptions of the wing flavors.  Waiting for them to open and staying in the area one more day was well worth it.  The prices were really good and ever flavor sounded amazing.  We are definitely planning on going back to the Summit Fireside Lodge and Grill on our way back.

They had this cool wood burning stove off to the side near the entrance to the outdoor beer garden.  They also use it when it is cold out because there was a large stack of wood off to its right.

I'm all for trying new beer and we even made a U-turn after I spotted this.  The logo really caught my eye.

I made sure to try a variety of what they make.  I didn't try anything bad and their sours tasted so good.  It was like they took berries and just smashed them right into the glass.

We got in to Niagara Falls and there was so much nice art down alley ways.  I really liked this bunny, he was so simple but so well done.  It makes sense that he is on the wall of the Proper Hare.

There were also a bunch of interesting shops we knew we would have to check out when they opened in the morning.  Almost everything was closed by the time we got into town and settled in with the Airbnb people.

Taps was one of the places recommended to us by our hosts.  It was really nice to sit outside and not have to worry about the heat.  We both had different kinds of poutine and enjoyed some of the beers they make here.  The people singing karaoke weren't too bad either.
Krissy and I apparently look like locals.  A couple came up and ask us what else was open.  We mentioned a crepe place and one other pub style place we passed while walking to Taps.  They asked if either was good because they were from out of town.  We told them that we were also from out of town, so we had no idea.  Turns out they were from Ohio, but we didn't find out which area.
