RKO Con V

  I was really hoping to go this year, but a series of events made it so that it would have been rough on Miss Spud's schedule and therefore rough on us all.  I did make sure to make the worms extra special for the 50th Anniversary of the community, so it's like I'm there in spirit.  Ryan stepped up again and was on worm duty again.  I think he has a good time doing it.

Yarn: I Love this Yarn in Strawberry Jam - Hook: 6mm

  I had to experiment with what to put on the inside of the beads.  They were more transparent than I thought they were going to be when I saw them in the bag.  The best was to use a nail polish of the same color, but silver was a good second place.  The white was too intense, it lightened the color too much.  It doesn't need a lot to become opaque enough for the yarn, if I had used a lighter yarn it probably wouldn't have been needed.

  I got 48 made for this year.  I still don't have solid evidence, but I think I started the trend of people leaving things around the con for other people to find.  It's just so much fun!
