Some Things From The Past

Miss Spud was digging through one of my old project bags and found this.  It looks like after I did the 1x1 ribbing I switched to a *k1, p1, k1* and *p2, k1* pattern.  I think I stopped working on it because I wasn't sure I was going to have enough yarn.  I'm pretty sure I still don't.  I do have enough for some worms and octopi.

Doing the Rocky Horror showing at Crooked Run Fermentation makes me feel so cool.  It's not our usual cast but I know most of the people, if not all, who come and perform.  It's the closest to "I'm with the band" as I'm probably going to get.  The employees always look forward to it and it's fun to talk with them after the show.
Bill had brought our Blu-ray player with the movie because that was the most stable way of playing the movie.  No worries about WiFi lag or forced Windows updates.  The problem was that they didn't have the same setup as last year, so he wasn't sure if he was going to have a long enough cable for audio.  Luckily we live really close by, so he ran home and looked for a longer cable.  It worked!
Miss Spud fell asleep in my arms during the show, so I slowly walked around to show everyone how asleep she was.  She shifted a few times, but was super asleep.  I thought my arms were going to be really sore the next morning, but they felt okay.
