I apparently forgot to post this. I finally got the pattern tested and came to the blog to get the image for the pattern page on Ravelry, but couldn't find it. I usually have a hard time naming patterns, but for this one, the name
Jagged Spine Shawl just popped into my head. It was a bit of a head scratcher to first think of how I wanted to design it, because I didn't want to have the pick-up sections stand out too much. It's pretty easy to knit up though. It also would show off very busy yarn nicely since each yarn is continuous within its side.
When I was first posting about this I was writing about how I actually had the ball band for it. Then I couldn't find it, so I thought that I had remembered wrong, but of course I found it after I finished the post. It is Unger Peacock, dye lot 84 AA. I tried to see if I could find it online, but didn't have any luck.
I'm going to try and post the yarn info more, so that way if you see something and really like it, you might be able to get some for yourself. Of course, a lot of the donated yarn doesn't have it's band any more, but I'm going to do my best.
I've also been knitting less in general. This is pretty normal for this time of the year though, because most of my work is done from home and it's gotten pretty busy. I also have a knitting commission that I need to get to, but a baby hat that needs to be finished first so I can use the needles. Tank also needs lots of attention because that is who he is. So much to do, but I think I can get it all done.
