I see the sun!

Getting some quality wedding knitting done while sitting in the sun.  I'm currently waiting in the Jeep for my fiancĂ©e to finish his meeting.
I like this pattern so much I might make another for charity.

Socks!

I finished one out of the two pairs of socks I was working on.  I love testing patterns and this is one of the ones I got to test.  They are the HiyaHiya Blossom Lace Socks(Ravelry link) and if I made them again I would make a few changes.  I would continue the pattern down the top of the foot and mirror the lace patterns.
I did, however, find something in the pattern that could have been written a bit more clearly.  I always feel super helpful when I find things that could be written better.

Not much to say because the wedding is quickly approaching.

Bang bang baby!

The sock is coming along nicely. We even went to the range together today. Later we are going to go out to dinner.

Boring part of the sock...

I'm to the plain foot of the sock. Luckily there is a giant yarn swap to keep me amused.

Some socks and snow.

I meant to post this when it happened, but time got away from me.

The night before I was told there was a bit storm on the way, but it was still over 50 degrees outside, so I wasn't too concerned.  I woke-up to see this:
Seems mother nature didn't care what I assumed.  So I spend most of the day knitting while watching giant flakes fall from the sky.  I also had an apple-cinnamon candle burning, so I felt super cozy.

This is the first sock I made on the right and I have a second sock I have cast on, too bad they are not part of the same pair.  The first sock is Jaywalker and the second is a test pattern I'm doing for HiyaHiya.

This is just a shot of the back of the heel for the first sock, it looks really cool.

Now off to go knit some more and watch the snow melt...darn.

I've been starting a few things...

I've been starting things left and right.  I think it is a reaction to finishing the serape.
I have a brioche scarf I started after helping a friend at Mon night knit-night with.  While hers is prettier color-wise, I think mine is nice and soft.
I've also started a pair of socks.  They did a cool diagonal pattern on their own at the heel.
Here's to hoping the second one does this too.

I've been a bit quiet on the blog-area because it is getting closer and closer to my wedding date.  This is also why I have not started that writing project I mentioned a while ago.  Things for the wedding are slowly coming together, but I feel like the time is going by faster.  Fingers crossed!

Time to go send some more e-mails and knit while I wait for replies!
